She soon came to be dependent on it, but did not 'sync' with the computer often enough. One day, she cracked the LCD, rendering most of the functions (including the menu) useless. We were looking at many hours of lost data. Using the USB cradle, we were still able to sync, and then load all her data back into her new Clie.
