Actually I have some Makita and Hitachi tools as well and they all are really great but the reviews I read about the Milwaukee sander made my mind up. I used it the hour I got it and it is everything I hoped and more. The universal pad is no problem, works great. I'm not used to the soft start so it took a little getting used to.
